Welcome to Hambledon Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Hampshire

St Peter and St Paul church lies in the middle of the village and forms an integral part of the village community. We are a friendly, active and lively family church for all ages and all members of the community.  We warmly welcome you to come along and find out more.

Rev Liz Quinn was appointed as Associate Priest Swanmore and of the Benefice of Newtown, Soberton and Hambledon and of Meon Bridge Benefice on 24th March 2025.  On her appointment, Rev Liz said:

I am delighted to share with you that I have been appointed as an Interim Associate Priest for the Meon Valley Parishes (MVP) which include Swanmore, the Bridge Benefice and the Benefice of Soberton, Newtown and Hambledon.  I am happy to say that my particular focus will be the Benefice of Soberton, Newtown and Hambledon.  Rev Andy Davis is the Priest-in Charge of the MVP and I will be one of the priests who serve alongside him.  The term ‘Interim’ is given to all the MVP priests while the legal restructuring is happening.  It is to do with that process rather than ‘only here for a little while’.  I am really looking forward to continuing to get to know and serve you all.
Rev. Jill Kingston has also been appointed to the MVP. Her particular focus will be the Bridge Benefice.
Our Licensing Service will be on Monday 16 June, in the evening, at St Barnabas Church, Swanmore.
I hope many of you will be able to join us to celebrate this new beginning.
With blessings
Liz
