Rev Liz Quinn, whom many of you will know, is currently serving her title curacy at St. George the Martyr, Waterlooville. It has been agreed that she will transfer her curacy, for the remainder of her title, to the Meon Valley Parishes, with Andy Davis as her training incumbent. She will be licensed from 19 February (Andy’s licensing date), and we have arranged that she will have her licenses read, and be formally welcomed to the benefices, at a service of Evensong at St. Peter & St. Paul, Hambledon, on 25 February at 6.30 pm. Liz is a gifted and prayerful priest (and a delightful person!) and will be a huge asset to our parishes. She lives in the Parish of Hambledon and will have a focus on the Soberton/Newtown and Hambledon Benefice.
We warmly welcome all to welcome Liz at her welcome service on 25 February, there will be refreshments afterwards, so that folk can meet Liz more informally.
